I tossed my bag inside before scrambling back down the steps and into the back yard. To my surprise, my sister Rhiannon was already out doing flips on the tramp - the exact place I wanted to be and doing same thing I wanted to do. I pulled myself onto the tramp and asked kindly, "Can you please move out of the way?" Then, to my annoyance, she moved right into the center of the tramp and her mouth transformed into a cheeky grin.
"No." Rhiannon had a cheeky flare in her voice. She was clearly trying to enjoy every bit of this.
"Please get out of the way!" I shouted so loud that the neighbours would probably end up by complaining.
"Nope!!!" She was getting cheekier by the minute.
"Yeeees!" Frustration was getting into my voice.
"No, no, no!"
"Yessssssssssssss!!!!!" I thundered.
"You're just trying to annoy me!"
"Just... Get... Out... Of... The... WAY!!!" There was some sort of threat in my voice that made her run off in tears.
"I'm telling on you!" Rhiannon yelled in her 'whimpering baby' voice. Trouble, yes trouble, was coming. Very fast too.
